Biobanks Policy Release for Public Comment
The Office of Population Health Genomics has been coordinating the development of guidelines for the establishment, management and operation of biobanks in Western Australia. The Draft ‘Guidelines for Human Biobanks, Genetic Research Databases and Associated Data (PDF 709KB) ’ have been developed in collaboration with professional stakeholders in WA and from a public consultation forum held in 2008.
The Draft Guidelines have been released for public comment and written submissions are welcomed by 25th of September 2009. Public submissions received by this date will be logged and listed on this website.
